- Kelly Slater: Kelly slater was born on the 11th of February 1972. he has been surfing since the age of 20. since then he has been crowned ASP world champion 11 times, including 5 consecutive titles from 1994-1999. Tom Curren was slaters childhood hero. iIn addition to the ASP titles, Kelly Slater also competed in the Xgames in 2003 and 2004. On November 6th Kelly won his 11th ASP world title at the rip curl pro in San Francisco.
